It should have been simple. Wife and ad agency exec Kathy Johnson asks P.I. husband Willam (no i) to check the whereabouts of a coworker's brother, a student at UNC-Asheville. Johnson discovers the brother's not where expected: at his Philadelphia society girlfriend's apartment. Instead, Johnson finds blood-soaked sheets and the remnants of scanty bedclothes. Now a body is missing and the brother-boyfriend becomes the obvious suspect in a love-gone-bad murder.
